New House Colors - Brick & Siding
The designer has to take into account all the "givens",
i.e. brick color, mortar color, roof color, neighboring structures, etc. as well as the client's personal preferences
in order to achieve a truly successful color scheme.

|
| BEFORE - all white siding & trim does nothing for home |

|
| AFTER - Warmer two-tone paint colors add interest while complementing roof, brick and mortar |
"We are just thrilled with
it. Thank you, thank you. Our neighbors love it also and I have given a couple of them your card." - Laurie Dempsey, homeowner

"Using Mary was such a wonderful decision! We went from having no idea what colors
to choose to having the house turn out even better than we hoped! She listened to what we wanted and did it all with

Interior Project Testimonial: "I cannot imagine a better client-designer experience than what I had with Mary Donovan. My project included
selecting interior colors for our entire house, redecorating our den, and getting lots of ideas on updating almost every room
in our house." "I never felt pressured to do something I was not comfortable with. Mary
went shopping with me and I always came home happy with what I had purchased. Mary is so good with selecting colors,
furniture, and accessories in the appropriate sizes and arrangements." -Virginia L., homeowner
Kitchen Update - Keeping Cabinets White These clients recognized that their entire kitchen was out of style. They were tired of the busy wallpaper they had
chosen when the house was new. With so much updating needed throughout
their house the clients asked that all of the kitchen be redone except for the cabinets. The updated kitchen was accomplished
with new overhead lighting, new undercabinet lighting, new solid surface countertops, wallpaper removal, new wall paint color,
new dishwasher, new sink, and new hardware on the cabinets.

| BEFORE - busy wallpaper, white cabinets & plastic laminate countertop |

|
| AFTER - decluttered, new lighting, newly painted walls & Silestone countertops |
"I had forgotten how much better the kitchen looked afterwards!
Mary is worth every penny. I wish she worked in Houston." -Kathryn Weber, past client who

Different Porches - Updated
Porches are very much back in style!!!! This first porch featured newer furnishings and floor tiles but its white, monochromatic color scheme and white ceiling
fan left a lot to be desired. The solution
was a new ceiling fan as well as new wall, ceiling and trim colors. When the clients put their furnishings back everything flowed together beautifully.

|
| BEFORE- Porch was all white and boring. |

|
| AFTER- porch's new colors bring everything together |
This second porch was a nice size for entertaining but its dark, low
ceiling made guests uncomfortable. The solution was to visually raise the ceiling by correcting its color.

|
| BEFORE - dark stained ceiling increases feeling that ceiling is too low |

|
| AFTER - new colors and color placement totally changes the porch |

"We contacted Mary as a referral from someone in our
subdivision and she responded quickly to set up an appointment. She provided a selection of colors for me to choose
from and helped me decide what best combination enhanced our house's exterior. Even my colorblind husband says it
is a big improvement." -Cindy M., homeowner
Real
Estate Staging Testimonial: "As a realtor, I have used Mary as a Real Estate
Staging Consultant on several occasions to assist my clients in preparing their homes for resale. Without exception,
when followed by the seller, her recommendations greatly enhanced the showing of the home and resulted in what I believe to
be a shorter selling time than otherewise would have occurred."
